“Bruno Raspanti was born in Settefonti di Ozzano dell’Emilia (Bologna), on 15 August 1938. He studied at the Art Institute of Bologna, under the guidance of Quinto Ghermandi, and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he maestro Umberto Mastroianni.
He was first a teacher in the art institutes of Ancona, Modena and Bologna, and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
He began exhibiting in 1956, winning numerous awards and holding various solo exhibitions in private galleries and public spaces.”
